a cold verses man flu .....

After a night of virtually no sleep thanks to a blasted cold and a pesky earache keeping me awake (and my inability to do anything quietly kept the puppy awake too) I am in debate as to whether or not I have a cold or man flu ... I have often wondered what the difference was?

In truth there is no difference just the way we deal with it !

Any other time in my life I would have the work through and ignore it attitude but having already I been ill for the last 4 months I am ready to declare this as MAN FLU lol I don't want to move I want to moan about how ill I am and have my family wait on me hand and foot while I get over it as they all get man flu never a simple cold and get the same attitude they take them selves off to bed and don't move unless necessary.....

You would think that they would understand ..... pfft don't be foolish they see parents as the never ending work machines that feed them pay the bills do the housework and just about ever other task a parent magically manages to do every other day and its not like my children are young anymore either they are all teenagers so can fend for themselves to the best part.

The only solution ... refuse to move just like them and sulk when I have to do something !!
