I thought it was time to introduce you all to our latest fur baby
Tinkerbell
our tiny 8 week old Jackapoo
She is a real poppet
Loves her cuddles
and touch wood so far knows where to go for the garden when nature calls!
We got her on 25th September 2013
Now I am going to admit I am one of those wives that always gets her own way with Hubby and Tinkerbell was a result of one of those
strop until you get what you want moments.
That said I am a kind and considerate wife who knows her husband well.
I was prepared for the moment my Hubby would yell out
"put that puppy to bed"
As much as he loves our little fur babies as much as I do he has
lots of paperwork to do and find the dogs charging around let alone a
boisterous puppy a handful when he needs to concentrate.
Knowing full well that he wouldn't expect me to think any further than puppy and puppy cuddles I decided that I would make sure I would surprise him.
Actually me having a puppy in my arms when he came home was enough of a surprise but meh hey ho, I thought ahead and had a little surprise ready for that moment when he was ready to call me on my inability to think further than the cuddles and fun side of having a puppy......
I didn't have to wait long
Hubby was sitting doing his paperwork and all 3 dogs were leaping around the living room having a good old game of tag knocking everything flying in their wake.
When he told Cleo and Lilly to go to bed Tinkerbell quickly followed them to their bed where the game they had started earlier carried on.
Now anyone who has playful animals will know that play doesn't stay in one area for long and before you knew it they were back playing around hubby.
One quick look from Hubby told the elder 2 that he wasn't impressed and they laid down quietly but Tinkerbell in her playful state wasn't ready to lay down quiet just yet.
After trying to goad the older 2 back into a game unsuccessfully she decided that hubbys shoe laces looked like a fab toy to play with.
Then it came
"Kayla ....put that puppy to bed"
To which I replied "OK angel"
and took Tinkerbell away to her 'bed'.
Shortly after I could hear hubby in the hallway giggling away near Tinkerbells bed
Realising he had gone to check if I had actually settled her or asked one of our daughters to entertain her while he worked, I rolled myself to where he was standing to see his face with the little surprise at the end of the hallway.
