New Year New Beginnings

Happy New Year 2014 !!!
The new year is a time for new starts,
 resolutions,
and the post christmas removal of the crimbo decs
Like I am sure most parents would agree I have had to find new homes for all the new things my daughter got as well as sort out the bits that no longer fit or are broken or otherwise unneeded or unwanted.
In my case I also had the mammoth task of trying to fit all this in
with getting ready to go back to working and beginning a new venture.
Working from home as a self employed mum has so many benefits it also has many draw backs.
And for me the biggest draw back is ............
I'm a workaholic
there I said it
I cant sleep so I have to fiddle maybe make a bracelet or bling a new design on a phone case or google dress designs for the mascot business sometimes I decide to design a new flyer or poster for one of the ventures.
My house is full to the brim with crafty bits gems beads jewellery findings materials and just about anything else you can think of and all this was put away over christmas poked in places I couldn't reach to prevent me from working and my work bench which is covered 99.9% of the time with all my bits and pieces as well as completed work work in progress and design ideas for new lines was returned to its true function for the holidays our dinner table!

Now I will admit to being workaholic
but I hate and I mean HATE
organizing my paperwork ready for the tax man
but I get it done and am always ready come April to submit my tax return
but its those pesky receipts that decide to hide when the house has been
'tidied' any other time I know they are on my work bench but over christmas I am sure the receipts have found their own way of making me forget
the safe places  I found for them.

However its the new year and I have decided to add to my ever expanding
heap of paperwork and have taken on another business !
having already got

I am now the proud owner of a Candy Cart Business as well

I am really looking forward to 2014 and the people I will meet through my businesses and the craft fairs that I attend.

I hope that whatever you have decided to do in 2014
you have the greatest of luck and the strength to do well in
and all the support that you need to attain your goals!

Happy New Year Everyone
from a very excited and positive
Kayla
